Ljubljana Health Centre with 1400 employees, more than 430.000 patients and more than 2.5 million doctors’ visits is the largest primary healthcare centre in Slovenia. LHC’s activities and treatment in domain of Ljubljana municipality are not limited only to the citizens of Ljubljana, but also others that seek medical assistance in the institution. Therefore LHC actually offers its services to a bigger population than stated, taking into account the citizens and daily migrants.  The main goal of LHC’s activities is to provide patients with comprehensive patient care in terms of preventive and curative healthcare and rehabilitation.  LHC is an educational institution, meaning that the Ministry of Health has granted LHC to carry out hands-on programs for students of secondary and university educational programmes in the fields of Healthcare, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Biomedical Laboratory Science, Special and Rehabilitation Pedagogy.
