Largest end user organization of elderly in Slovenia

ZDUS is a non-governmental umbrella organization with 13 regional member associations, bringing together 503 local pensioner organizations and represeting more than 189.000 elderly people in Slovenia. Its main objective is ensuring and supporting  active, productive, creative and independent life for older people as long as possible. ZDUS is an end user organization with experience in international projects since 2005, with 3 of them being funded from the AAL programme: SAAPHO project: Secure Active Ageing: Participation and Health for Old  People (AAL programme, 2011 - 2013); iCarer project: Intelligent Care Guidance and Learning Services Platform for Informal Carers of the Elderly (AAL programme, 2013 - 2016) and iCareCoops project: Fostering Care Cooperatives in Europe by Building an Innovative Platform with ICT Based and AAL Driven Services (AAL programme, 2015 - 2017). 

International important memberships: EURAG - European Federation for Older people, AGE Platform and Eurocarers - European associations working for carers.
