The QoL technologies lab researchers how mobile technologies can be leveraged for an accurate, longitudinal, real-life, context-rich, minimally obtrusive, privacy-preserving, personalized assessment of the individual’s behavior and Quality of Life (QoL) and improvement of the latter.

 
We promote ICT technologies to improve QoL of individuals through rigorous scientific research, education, science communication and outreach. Currently our reserach is applied in mobile healthcare (mHealth) for wellbeing, disease self-management, active and healthy ageing and Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) by leveraging personal, big data approaches (like 'quantified-self' one) in Living Lab settings.
 
We have an an affiliated "mQoL Living Lab" with our lab enabling us to conduct user-centric studies and specifically involve many different individuals in design of solutions and trials.
