Solgenium

Solgenium was founded in 2013 as a research, service and consulting firm specialized on the healthcare domain.

Since its foundation, Solgenium has participated in several publicly funded research projects as well as initiated self-funded internal studies in the fields of digital health and ambient (active) assisted living (AAL). In particular, these included studies on future service and business models for AAL as well as on the applicability of new technologies and data-driven approaches in the health domain.
In parallel, Solgenium delivered customer projects to many healthcare organizations with a focus on data, logistics, and human resource management. This led to an innovative approach employing Bayesian statistical machine learning, ultimately yielding the analytics tool CARA. CARA supports healthcare organizations in ensuring that the right number of health professionals with the appropriate skills are in the right place at the right time to deliver the required services to the clients.
