CITARD Services Ltd is an SME, established in 2005 and operating in Cyprus, active in the Information and Communication Technology sector and concentrating in the eHealth and Ambient Assisted Living areas.
The company has long term expertise in the design and development of ICT solutions and services in the health and social care sector taking into consideration dynamically changing end-user needs and requirements. Through its expertise and knowledge, CITARD plays an active role between the technological area and the end users’ sphere and provides for rapid, cost effective and successful development and taken up of innovative ICT based personalized solutions.
Moreover, its continuous contribution and innovation to the research community of the ICT and Ageing Well sectors are fundamental elements that form the company’s values.
CITARD has more than 10 years of proven experience within eHealth and Ambient Assisted Living areas and aims to provide a variety of high quality services to End User Organizations, Industry and Public Authorities with sole purpose to provide adequate ICT solutions for the eHealth and Ageing Well sectors. CITARD's long-term experience in working close with a number of national and international care organizations, in the introduction of new technologies and services in the eHealth and Ambient Assisting Living areas, allowed it to gain the expertise and knowledge required for providing the following, but not limited to, services:
- Consultancy for the design, development and deployment of innovative ICT-solutions for the ageing sector (contributing to minimize the market uptake risks)
- Elderly requirements analysis and modeling;
- Design, development, on site validation, overall assessment, usability testing, user customization, deployment and maintenance of ICT based solutions within the eHealth and Ambient Assisted Living areas;
- Design and development of security and privacy infrastructures;
- Design and development of context aware, personalized and adaptive End User interfaces;
- Integration of ICT based solutions with AAL-based robotics for elderly daily life assistance;
- Business Deployment.
Such experience allows CITARD to use technology as an enabler to support the elderly to stay connected and create networks of formal and informal support. As a consequence CITARD has also provided significant contributions to various research projects, actively promoting ICT-based solutions in the AAL market.
