The Universitat de València (UVEG) is a five-century-old public research-oriented university teaching in all scientific fields and university levels of education, with four campuses and over 55,000 students, 3,300 professors, lecturers and researchers, and 1,700 administration staff. Our 394 research groups, organised in 92 departments and 28 research institutes and interdisciplinary research structures, carry out a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research. Currently, UVEG stands out as one of the main public research organizations in Spain. Several central services provide support to the development of research projects, such as the International Research & Development & Innovation and the Innovation & Valorisation sections, among others.
Our research group (Psychological development, Health and Society, PSDEHESO) is an interdisciplinary team at the University of Valencia, focused, among others, on normative and non-normative psychological development (including neurological disorders), cognitive basic processes (as attention and memory), and applied psychological and functional assessment and intervention areas.
We especially offer our long experience in applied and theoretical research on neuroscience, experimental research, advanced methodological methods and data analysis to be applied in a wide range of samples in several populations to perform specialized data analysis.
We offer extensive experience in the organization of scientific meetings related to these topics and in the participation of several national and international funded projects, including European Commission contracts and projects and national projects and contracts with other institutions and enterprises.
We are interested in being a partner of a consortium where we can contribute with our expertise in the field of human development from different scopes like cognitive neuroscience, experimental research, the creation and performing of measuring psychological techniques, and also the development of applied interventions to improve different cognitive functions, functional status, mobility, etc.
