Marsi Bionics is a start up company spun off from the Centre for Automation and Robotics, a research centre belonging to the Spanish National Research Council. The staff involved in Marsi Bionics have an expertise of 20 years in the design, development and control of legged robots.

Marsi Bionics’ exoskeletons are low-weight devices, easy to use, there is no need to transfer from the wheelchair to the exoskeleton. They provide a natural movement, able to walk on irregular ground, and they are intuitively conducted.

The exoskeleton can be combined with an intelligent walker which is attached to the exoskeleton and allows the user to sit down and stand up with the aid of the exoskeleton. The user does no need to handle the walker: exoskeleton and walker interact with each other.

There are over 60 million people worldwide who could benefit from the aid of exoskeletons: Paraplejics, Tetraplejics, people suffering from Neuromuscular diseases, Cerebral Palsy, and Elderlies are all candidates for the use of Marsi Bionic’s exoskeletons.
