The CerTIMF Research Center was established at the Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and Physics Department from Petroleum Gas University of Ploiesti, to further the mission of the University and advance the research objectives set in the strategic plan. It brings together researcher from multiple disciplines: computer science and engineering, mathematics and physics, having the capacity to enhance diversity and interdisciplinary research oportunities.
The Center provides a stimulating environment that encourages early research, by serving as learning environments for students, but also challenges the experienced researchers. It also serves as a gateway to the industry, by creating partnerships with different companies and working on joint research projects.
